Palace Hotel **** Zandvoort, is the ideal choice for a holiday in Zandvoort. With a height of no less than 80 meters, our hotel is located directly on the beach and opposite the Zandvoort Train Station. The standard double rooms all have a balcony with a beautiful view over Zandvoort. The Loft and Executive Twin rooms have a breathtaking view of the sea and/or have a whirlpool.
What you bring to us
As a Technical Service Employee, you are a crucial part of our team. You are responsible for all technical work, repairs and maintenance within the hotel, including the restaurant. You ensure that all equipment, sanitary facilities, locks and fittings, lighting and installations are in optimal condition. You are the point of contact for both colleagues and guests for technical issues and problems.
With your eye for detail and expertise, you quickly and efficiently solve problems and malfunctions, and you handle ad-hoc complaints. You perform preventive maintenance and ensure a safe environment within the hotel by carrying out periodic checks. Your proactive and solution-oriented attitude contributes to the overall satisfaction of our guests and the success of our hotel. Together with the team, you ensure an excellently maintained and safe Palace Hotel Zandvoort.

- Professional maintenance: You perform periodic maintenance on the hotel rooms and are skilled in repairs, painting and carpentry work.

Your responsibilities
As a Technical Service Employee at Palace Hotel Zandvoort, you have a boundless passion for technology and problem solving. You ensure that our hotel always looks its best and functions optimally. This includes a wide range of tasks and activities, such as:
- Proactively responding to busy times and showing a positive attitude – for example by making extra efforts during peak hours, arrival and departure days or supporting colleagues with technical issues.
- Working together with external suppliers and maintenance parties – you ensure timely planning of maintenance work and repairs to ensure the quality and continuity of the hotel services.
- Effective communication with hospitality, cleaning and reception staff – you ensure smooth cooperation between departments to ensure an excellent guest experience, such as quickly solving technical problems or sharing relevant information.
- Responsible for the execution of maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment – you contribute to the overall appearance and functionality of the hotel by performing various technical tasks, such as maintaining lighting, climate control and other hotel facilities.

Think of a salary between € 2,000 and € 2,524.17 gross per month based on 38 hours per week, in line with your education and experience. Profile of our ideal Technical Service Employee
To be successful in this role, it is an advantage if you have experience in technical maintenance, installation technology, construction or a completed education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical fields. Living in the vicinity of Zandvoort/Haarlem or having your own transport is certainly a plus, of course we provide parking.
You can work independently as well as in a team and are able to deal effectively with challenging technical situations. Accuracy and problem-solving skills are self-evident to you, and you have strong communication skills in Dutch and English, and preferably a third language, such as German.
Even more important than your education are your experience and motivation. A completed MBO education in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Installation Technology, is an advantage.
